Reclaimed Painted Fence Wood, 36”x36”

This recently restored work is ultimately a reflection on a location in Mack’s life. This is a loose representation of a space where Harlan spent many of his earlier years in deep thought and focus while doing homework and artwork. The indentations left on his Oma’s kitchen table are a physical evidence that remains of this time. This time is known to him to be of great importance as a baseline for Harlans organized thoughts and creative expression.
